1966 Cadillac Sixty Special

ONE OF 8 PROTOTYPES BUILT BY GM In late 1965 Cadillac made the 1966 Cadillac convertible 4 door prototype. They took them to the auto show only to find out that Lincoln was concluding their 4 door convertible cars. We all know that Lincoln produced the four-door convertible up to 1967. However the rumor convinced them not to offer them to the public. Just another old wives' tale, but this is how the story goes. Only eight are known to be produced, rather than destroying them they gave them to the senior Executives of each division to enjoy this rare beauty.
